In spite of client demands to create conventional elearning courses, the fact is that the way people are learning today has changed phenomenally due to the increased access to social media tools and advanced mobile devices. Twitter, blogs, wikis, and discussions have become the new age learning methods. Learner's look for relevance and access information only when it is needed. The concept of reading everything that comes your way and conventional ideas about increasing knowledge generically have phased out. Learner's now search for what they want, skim through to establish relevance, and move on if the information is irrelevant...

1.Nowadays, unlike in the past where people used to avail themselves physically in lecture halls, visit libraries or even involve in inquiries for learning purposes or else no learning could take place, people access internet and carryout e-learning. This is due to improvement in technology through use of online tools like smart phones, laptops, computers.
Nevertheless, people worldwide are in social networks like blogs, twitter, face book, wikis and others where they can access information easily and thus learning takes place at hand unlike in the past.

3. Yes, I agree with the author. This is evident mostly during exam times, class rooms are full yet during class times, very few students attend. Missing classes have become routine since the information tutor gives, can as well be accessed at a distance while doing other generating activities like per time jobs.
